The classic magnifier is a traditional round shape and having 2 x magnification, can be used for virtually any purpose, and is easily held in the hand. Other magnifying products help those who require help through loss of normal sight in the form of sheet magnifiers and page magnifiers, particularly useful when reading newspapers. Although these products are undoubtedly an aid for poor sight, it should be stressed that they are not substitutes for prescribed eye glasses.
